Mission Control for New Show

We'd like to announce the mission behind our new show, RENAISSANCE RADIOCAST, which should be coming to you in podcast form before the new year!

Renaissance Radiocast is a show for both casual listeners and music aficionados alike. Either way, we play good music. Our mission, first and foremost, is to give our listeners a way to discover good music, new and old. But more than that, we want to give some more meaning to music than just the chorus of a catchy song. Through our changing thematic shows (our first show was a holiday special playing a wide variety of original holiday season songs), we like to give you the bigger picture. Along the way, we provide up to date local and world wide music news. In between all of this music, we'll be crafting a mix of (hopefully) hilarious and thoughtful segments. We like to throw in a little spice too. Authorities barring, we'll have our own surprises for you. Either way, you'll be entertained.

If you have any suggestions (since we love our audience), hit us up at either gabriel.pollak [at] bncmedia.org or peter.leonard [at] bncmedia.org.

Love,

Gabe the Babe

PS-Speaking of Missions, I'd like to remind you of the Whigs first album, Mission Control. But not just because it's a beastly album, but because the Whigs are coming to town this Thursday at the Black Cat! I suggest you go. They put on one of the best live shows I have ever seen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcjmVOAHEvc). Last time I saw them, I almost got hit in the head with a mic stand!
